Our Founder
Shelisa Marie is the founder and lead image consultant of Refined Style Image Consulting, LLC. As a young girl Shelisa identified her passion for fashion; always being told she has “the eye”-- she always knew one day she would begin her career within the fashion industry!
Upon her graduation from the University of Kentucky with both her B.S. in Merchandising, Apparel & Textiles and B.A. in Journalism, Shelisa began her career in the fashion industry as a retail buyer.
Throughout her several years in the retail & buying industry and personal everyday life-- friends, family and even strangers in the store would ask for her opinion on what they should wear and often question why some styles don’t look the same on their body type; with that she decided to channel her natural passion into Refined Style Image Consulting, LLC.
Aiming to provide a premier image experience to its clients with an emphasis on client confidence and knowledge; Refined Style Image Consulting, LLC is much more than your standard styling house.
Shelisa is a Certified Image Consultant through the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
